Functional and minimalist but with a striking contemporary appearance, this pepper grinder is Scandinavian design at its very best. Inspired by details from the influential work of Sigvard Bernadotte, the stainless steel column shape is as beautiful to hold as it is to look at and makes an interesting conversation piece at any dinner party.
Taking details from designer Sigvard Bernadotte’s 1930s silver pieces and transferring them to more modern stainless steel, the Bernadotte collection appeals to young and old and fits in with both classic and contemporary interiors.
This beautiful pepper grinder is made from stainless steel which is then hand-polished to give a gleaming mirror-like surface.

The grinder will not corrode, give or absorb any taste or flavour. The CrushGrind® technology is developed and designed in Denmark."
- All Georg Jensen's stainless steel products are hand-polished, which is a rather time consuming process performed by only the most skilled craftsmen.
1907 - 2002
Prince Sigvard Bernadotte (1907-2002) was trained at the Kungliga Konstakademien in Stockholm in 1929. The prince’s long affiliation with Georg Jensen represents another chapter in the rich history of Scandinavian design. His Bernadotte collection has been and continues to be a favourite for generations.
