When you pick up the COBRA, its smoothness and weight is apparent. Designer Constantin Wortmann set out to make a traditional candleholder for today. It is reminiscent of an antique candestick in its substantial weight and height but is nothing like its forebears in that it has voluptuous, gravity-defying curves rendered in mirror polished stainless steel. Like the mystical snake that inspired it, it can be hard to look away from COBRA candlesticks.
