Inspired by nature and featuring a sculptural and bold expression, the MOONLIGHT GRAPES ear stud is a classic piece of Scandinavian design.
The three small grapes form a gorgeous cluster that sits beautifully on your earlobe. There is a certain coolness to the sterling silver, and when light hits it the effect is truly special.
The MOONLIGHT GRAPES motif is one of the most important and cherished in the storied legacy of Georg Jensen. It originates from the early 1900s, more specifically the Art Nouveau period. It was a period in time where Georg Jensen himself was heavily inspired by natural forms and structures.
The MOONLIGHT GRAPES ear stud is made from oxidised sterling silver.

1866 - 1935 Georg Jensen
In 1904 the Danish silversmith Georg Jensen founded his first modest silver smithy in the heart of Copenhagen. Thirty years later, he had made an international name for himself. When he died in 1935, the New York Herald Tribune saluted him as "the greatest silversmith of the last 300 years."
