Edge bowl from Skagerak’s terracotta collection emanates from an old Mediterranean tradition for craftsmanship. Designed in a simple, Nordic expression, the bowl is poised between raw and refined. The outside has kept its original burned look in red-brown nuances while the inside is glazed to ensure a sturdy and water-resistant surface, easy to clean.

• Terracotta

  Why 
  Terracotta is a beautiful looking type of earthenware - in this case formed by high-fired clay. Terracotta means “baked earth” in Italian and the pottery technic can be traced all the way back to ancient Greece.

  Cleaning and maintenance 
  The product requires a minimum of care. However, if necessary clean the product using lukewarm or soapy water and wipe with a dry cloth. Be aware that terracotta can be fragile, so take care when moving the item around.
